📜 How the Book works
The pit's own Champions fight exhibitions at fixed gongs. Back a corner with
$GLORY — you bet against the other Warlords, never against the House.
At the gong the pool locks and the bout runs; the losing pool, minus the
treasury's 5%, pays the winning corner pro-rata
to their stakes. The odds are the crowd: the projected payout moves
with every bet until the gong — nothing is fixed, and a winner always gets at
least their stake back. Bets are final. If a corner has no backers, everyone
is refunded in full. Every bout's seed is committed by hash before the first
bet and revealed after the gong — the log is sealed; verify it yourself.

📜 How the gong works
The Arena sounds the gong at a fixed hour — full bracket or not. Empty seats are
claimed by the pit's own Champions; beat them and their share of the pot is
yours. No entrants at the gong and the Champions fight anyway, for the crowd.

📜 How brackets work
Single-elimination brackets. Buy a seat for a fixed $GLORY entry fee; when the last
seat fills, the gates slam shut and the arena runs every fight on the spot. The prize
pool pays the last brutes standing — the treasury keeps 5%.

📜 How the market works
List one of your brutes for sale at a fixed $GLORY price, or buy a battle-tested mercenary
from another Warlord. A sold brute conveys as-is — its level, XP, skill tree, and
win/loss record all transfer to the new owner. Listing a brute locks it (no fighting,
wagering, retiring, or training) until it sells or you delist. The treasury keeps a
10% rake on every sale, and listing costs a non-refundable
100 $GLORY fee.

📜 What the Armory sells
Every cosmetic in one forge. Bought once per account, equips free forever, and
changes nothing but how good your victims look losing. Brute gear + flair dress
a fighter; Warlord regalia crowns the account. The rarest pieces aren't sold —
they're taken.
Grows from in-game fees & rakes; paid back to fighters as daily emissions (see the Purse tab) and monthly Season rewards. The Patron's Rebate pays back the Warlords who spend; the ladder and weekly pot pay skill. Fight daily to collect all three.

📜 How the season pays
At each month's end, up to 25% of the House Treasury is paid out across two leaderboards: up to 20% to human brutes by Brute W/L (weighted by wins, favoring the top ranks) and up to 5% by Brutes Summoned. Each pool is sized to the field and capped per Warlord, so a quiet month never hands the treasury to a few wallets. CPU brutes earn nothing.

Each UTC day the arena pours 10% of the treasury (smoothed over recent
days, so one heavy day doesn't swing it — and never more than one daily cap per active fighter) into a
pooled purse, split three ways: the Patron's Rebate for Warlords who
spend, the ranked ladder, and the weekly pot. Every coin comes from the House Treasury — nothing is minted.

🏛 The Arena Ladder
Skill, not power — rank measures how a brute performs against the field, not how hard it hits. A hidden rating moves with every rated fight; only its tier is public.
Season rewards go to the peak tier reached this season — touch a tier once and its regalia is granted to your Warlord at settlement. Ladder regalia is earned, never sold. The Sand-Sovereign dragon-crown belongs to the Champion of the Sands alone.
